Important: OS Broadcaster stream playback is not HTML5 compatible. The stream can be watched only on Standard web-browser Flash Players and not on any mobile device like an android phone or tablet.
You can now broadcast live from your Android mobile device using OS Android Broadcaster, which is available for download in Google play store:
You can install OS Android Broadcaster from https://play.google.com/store and start broadcasting from your phone.
Once the application opens, click on the Install button:
Note: in order to broadcast from android phones using Streaming platform Android Broadcaster you need to have Adobe Air installed.
After Streaming platform Android Broadcaster is installed, you can start live streaming on your channel:
1. Click here to adjust the video settings.
2. Click here to adjust the audio settings.
3. Click here to start live streaming.
4. Click here to configure the streaming settings.
5. Click here to adjust the general settings.
All you need to do is to configure the streaming settings:
1. Insert here the RTMP server address of you channel.
2. Insert here the RTMP stream name.
Note: broadcast RTMP settings can be found in Broadcast options page in Streaming platform dashboard. Please make sure when you insert the details above, so that they are as accurate as the ones from user dashboard.
3. Set the publish status to Live using the arrows (< >).
4. Set the bandwidth to 0, so that it will be unlimited.
